The great innovation with the Quantum mask is that in addition to offering a better downward view, it avoids the phenomenon of fogging through the internal thermoregulation of the hot and humid air coming out of the nose. This air is channeled by a system of membranes embedded in the molding around the eyes and nose and diverting the flow to the rubber skirt instead of the lenses.
The outer part of the shell features a cooling system consisting of two small heat exchangers which act as radiators. The effect is that the temperature inside the mask drops as it approaches the outside temperature and the droplets of moisture are trapped before the air reaches the lenses, preventing them from fogging up. Despite the presence of the small interior
diverter membranes of the air flow and external heat exchangers, the body of the Quantum mask is still compact and represents the most advanced design offered on the underwater vision market.

Since the company’s beginning, Swim products have been an important part of the Cressi product range.
In 2005, Cressi established a separate brand specifically for swimming products. Cressi Swim was established and offered a full range of swimming products and apparel including swim masks, goggles, fins, caps, swim suits and accessories. In recent years, products such as the Cobra Swim Mask and the Palau Short Adjustable fins represent Cressi’s continued emphasis on product development and innovation. In 2009, the Cressi Swim website was launched as a place where people all over the world can find information about the entire Cressi Swim line on the internet.
